SPAGHETTI ALLA SICILIANA RECIPE

This authentic Sicilian pasta recipe is extremely easy and it takes only 5 ingredients to form it! Spaghetti Siciliana may be a fiery mixture of hot pasta mixed with many garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, chilli and vegetable oil. Simple and pretty! 

I would wish to say that the taste of your dish will almost solely rest on the standard of dried tomato sun so remember that in mind once you buy them. Get the simplest quality you'll afford, in any case you only need a touch Jar!

In a large pot boil and salt water cook your spaghetti consistent with the direction of the package. I usually subtract 2 minutes of recommended cooking time, this manner you get them hard.

Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp. vegetable oil during a wok and add chopped garlic, dried tomato sun and red chilli flakes, cook while stirring with alittle flame for 1 minute, then add half your chopped parsley. Set aside. 

Drain your cooked pasta and throw everything together within the same pot, add salt to taste and therefore the remaining half the chopped parsley. Serve with cheese on top. Seriously, it couldn't be easier or more delicious than that!

  • Ingredients for Spaghetti Siciliana
  • Olive oil- 2 tbsp.
  • Garlic- 3 cloves
  • Red Chilli flakes-1-2 tsp.
  • Sun-dried tomatoes chopped- 4 tbsp.
  • Flat leaf parsley chopped- 1/2 bunch
  • Spaghetti- 500 gr
  • Salt
  • Hard Cheese like Grana Padano or Parmesan to taste

  2. In a large pot of boiling and salted water cook your spaghetti according to package direction.
  3. Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp. of olive oil in a frying pan and add minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and red chilli flakes, cook while stirring over low heat for 1 minute, then add half of your chopped parsley. Set aside.
  4. Drain your cooked pasta and toss everything together in the same pan, add salt to taste and remaining half of chopped parsley. Serve with grated cheese on top.
